The Batchers Of Litchfield Distillery. Hi, we’re David, Jack, and Peter Baker (left to right). We grew up in the water-bottling business; for three generations, our family brought you the crisp, clear water called Crystal Rock. And grow up we did. With firsthand experience of what it takes to operate a family-owned business, a taste for good.

And grow up we did. With firsthand experience of what it takes to operate a family-owned business, a taste for good drink, and the good fortune to live in this gorgeous corner of the country called Connecticut, we decided to launch Litchfield Distillery.

Our commitment is to distill the finest spirits in small batches sourcing the best ingredients our local farmers have to offer. And the taste of that commitment can be found in every sip of our award-winning Litchfield Distillery spirits.

Our mission is to produce exceptionally distilled spirits, handcrafted from the highest quality, regionally harvested grains.

Nothing exceptional ever comes easy. We honor good old-fashioned, roll-up-your-sleeves effort and remain steadfast in our belief that hard work is the only path to greatness.

There is only ready and not ready—nothing in between. If our spirits don’t live up to our high standards, we won’t release to the market. We would rather discard inferior product than disappoint our loyal customers.

The Batchers’® moniker and barrel-roller icon represent the pride and stewardship we bring to work every day and remind us to inspire loyalty, dedication, and camaraderie amongst our community.

Our allegiance to principle is absolute. Trust is built over time, yet can evaporate in a fleeting moment. When we say we’ll do something, you have our word it will get done.

Without clean, healthy soil and favorable weather, our local farmers can’t grow the quality grains and fruit we need to batch our spirits. We are committed to sourcing local ingredients and implement sustainable practices to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible.

Litchfield Distillery is more than a business. We are a network of community members working collaboratively to make a positive social impact. We strive to give back as much as we can to community organizations doing important work in the arts, environment, and education.

We’re not just in the business of batching fine spirits, we’re in the business of celebration. Hard work and struggle always seem to reap reward. We’re honored and humbled that consumers choose our Batchers’ spirits to celebrate their achievement. And for that, we are eternally grateful.
